1st Day of Service Learning Project

Today, we met with Stephanie Reeves(site coordinator) at the Veranda at Collegetown.  She explained everything that we would be doing throughout the semester.  We were also given a tour by one of the residents.  His name was Mr. Flowers but everyone knows him as "Papa".  He was really nice and seemed excited to have us volunteering at the center.  I am looking forward to meeting the rest of the residents and I feel that this will be something that I will always remember.  They have such nice spirits and a lot of wisdom to bestow on us.
